My name is Fawziyah, I hold a Bachelor's degree with honors in Archaeology and a Master's degree in Tourism, 2017. These qualifications have equipped me with a unique skill set that allows me to excel in both fields.

My passion for archaeology led me to pursue a Master's degree in Tourism, where I explored the intersection between archaeology and the travel industry.

During my studies in the Master's program in Tourism, I had the privilege of being taught by exceptional professors who played a crucial role in shaping me into a competitive and highly skilled graduate. They not only imparted theoretical knowledge but also provided us with practical skills that are highly sought after in the labor market.

One of the valuable skills I acquired during my Master's program was the ability to write scientific research. My professors emphasized the importance of conducting rigorous research and producing high-quality academic papers. They provided guidance and feedback throughout the research process, ensuring that we developed a strong foundation in academic writing. I published a joint paper with Dr. FakhriehDarabseh entitled, Promoting Border Areas for Developmental Ecotourism: A Case Studyof Al-Adaseyah Jordan. I also published a book in Lambert Academic Publishingentitled, The Potential Development of Abu Dablah Spring as a Curative Destination

I was the first female to work in tourism and archaeology in the Northern Jordan Valley region, and I currently work as an archaeologist at TapaqetFahel archaeological site. In the end, my strong will and persistence overcame the community's rejection of my work and the problems and difficulties I encountered while working on them. Now, they are helping me to develop and improve the site.

In 2019, I began working with the Baraka Destination Company as a local partner in their initiatives that are centered on the collaboration of local community members in the tourism sector. I am currently a local guide with them in TapaqetFahel for the Pella Tourism Guide Project.

Currently, I'm also having a brand-new, original experience in the tourism industry called "Mindful Meditation in Nature with Tourists".Recently, I was privileged to be invited by the American Embassy as one of the pioneering women in the field of preserving heritage and tourist site

All thanks to the faculty members at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management for their endless support of their students and following them up after graduation

Finally, I want to add that if you want a strong will and determination, nothing is impossible.

My Name is Omar Shatnawi, I have studied Hotel Management in Yarmouk University and graduated in 2018 with excellent GPA. During my study in the university I had a great opportunity to travel to Romania with Erassmus + program, an opportunity thathelped me to develop and improve my personality, language skills, my way of thinking and how to be an independent and self-confident person.

Soon after my graduation, and after meeting the job’s requirements, with a satisfying interview I have got a job opportunity at IHG " InterContinental’s Hotel Group " As a human resource &learning and development officer ".

The success story of the graduates of faculty student Muhammad Al-Zghier

My name is Muhammad Al-Zghier, I was born on October 11, 1987, and lived in Amman, then moved to Aqaba. After I moved to Aqaba, I studied hotel management and started working in a hotel.I received my diploma in 2007 with a GPA of 81.3 and at the time I was the fifth of my year at the Hashemite University.

I started working in Amman Hotel. While, I was working there I applied for masters and was accepted into Yarmouk University with a specialization in tourism management in 2012.

Working on my master degree was an incentive for me to push through both my academic life and career. The path I choose was a hard one but I knew it will pay off eventually. My studies were in the evening period so my day consisted of going to school early to prepare for my classes, attend my lectures and then drive back to Amman to do my shift at the hotel.

In 2015 I graduated from Yarmouk University with a master's degree in management with distinction. I started to focus on my next advanture and applied to work the opening of the Abdali Boulevard in the beating heart of the new developed Amman. I was promoted to Assistant Director of Room Servicedue to my experience and scientific certificates. Less than a year later, I was promoted to Service Manager.

I have studied Master degree in The Department of Tourism and Travel at Yarmouk University and graduated in 2017.

During my study, I have acquired many skills that helped me in the job market. I amworking in the field of digital marketing and I have established a digital marketing organization.

I also work in the field of training in digital marketing for small and medium-sized companies and entrepreneurs, in cooperation with organizations inside and outside Jordan, including the "Building Small and Medium Enterprises Capabilities on Specialized Digital Marketing Programs, Boost With Facebook" provided by Facebook.

The success story of the graduates of faculty student Walaa Obiedat at Auburn University -USA

n 2008 I joined Yarmouk University at The Faculty of Archeology and Tourism; I studied tourist guidance for three years and a half. In 2012, I continued my studies in The Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management as a master student, where I got more knowledge about the hospitality industry.

After I had graduated from Yarmouk University, I joined the workforce and started my career in Movenpick Hotels Aqaba; then I moved to the King Hussain Bin Tala Conference Center and Hilton in the Dead Sea. Throughout my short career I was looking for opportunities to continue my graduate studies, and when the chance to apply for a scholarship in Mutah University came, I did not hesitate.

In 2015, I finished all the requirement to start my scholarship and traveled to the United States to start my P.H.D in tourism marketing at Auburn University. Hopefully, I will be back shortly to start working in Mutah as an academic staff member there.

The success story of the graduates of faculty student Othman Al Tawalbeh

I am Othman Al Tawalbeh , I was born on December 30, 1984. I live in Rasoun village. I passed tawjihi in 2002 and got 77.7 (literary stream). After that, I joined Yarmouk University and my major was English language and Literature. While studying at the university, I was working with my father to help him with my university registration fees. That was my life style till I graduated in 2006. After my graduation, I decided to work individually in our own business as a lorry driver.

I applied for a vacancy at Ajloun Forest Reserve, I was hired as a Duty manager and started working on the 5th of April 2008.

In the beginning, it was a challenge because I had a lot of working hours with minimum wages. I determined to work hard, believing that this will help me reaching my goals.

In 2010, I nominated for a new position which is Tourism Manager at Ajloun Forest Reserve. I was a hard worker and I built great relationships with staff, management, stakeholders, and Visitors. In 2012, I was chosen to be one of the committee to develop the Eco Tourism in the Middle East Countries through holding a training course for 25days in Egypt.

My participation in this training prompted me to pursue my higher education and I got my Master degree in tourism with an excellent degree; this contributed to make me more professional in my work.

On December 2013, I nominated to manage a new project (sharhabil Bin Hasneh Ecopark), which is affiliated to (Jordan Eco Park) organization.

Through hard working, I rehabilitated this project by enhancing the infrastructure , capacity building for staff , and developing the tourism activities.

In 2015, I was nominated by the American Embassy in Amman to represent Jordan in IVLP Program about parks and protected area management on the USA for 3 weeks.

In 2016 I Led Sharhabil bin Hasneh Eco park to be one of the top 100 green destinations on the world and I was chosen as a world Green Destination Ambassador

In 2017, I was representing Jordan at the united Nation General assembly in New York City on international workshop about Sustainable development. My travel expenses were a grant from king Abdullah Box.

In 2018, I got a new position with the Royal society for Conservation of Nature Ajloun Forest Reserve Manager & the Royal Academy for Conservation of Nature. On July 2018, I applied to nominate Ajloun Forest Reserve on the Green Destination Competition and we got the answer that our Reserve has been selected among 100 green Destination for the year 2018.

Also, I contributed to admit Ajloun Forest Reserve to IUCN green List. By the end of 2018 I participated at the UNWTO Conference in Bahrain to talk about Ajloun Forest Reserve as a successful story.

In 2019, I attended a training Course about Leadership At Sand Hurst College in the UK to represent RSCN and I was honored to be chosen as a major participant out of 130 originations and civil societies. Also, I was honored to be chosen as a successful story and was filmed by Jordan Investment Committee to speak about my role in developing the local community projects.

I had the honor of meeting King Abdullah II during his visit to Ajloun Governorate.

In 2020, I had the honor to host Queen Rania Al Abdullah at the Royal Academy for the Conservation of Nature.

In 2021, I participated at the first international forum in Morocco to held lectures and workshop about reserve management and I was an international jury member to discuss a master thesis in ecotourism in Morocco.

I am a successful story for youth due to my achievements. Also, I am a speaker about the role of Nature Reserves in developing Local communities. Moreover; I get a number of thankful trophies for my effort and contribution from different entities.
