A number of faculty members from Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management at Yarmouk University, represented by the Dean Professor Dr. Akram Rawashdeh, Head of Hotel Management Department, Dr. Omar Al-Ananzeh, and Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Training, and Agreements, Mr. Furat Al-Muhaisen, visited on Saturday, 10-7-2023, the Crowne Plaza Al-Bahr Hotel.  

A meeting held with Mrs. Dana Al-Kurdi, Operational Quality Manager at IHG Hotels & Resorts in which Mrs. Dana gave a brief about various hotel departments and the hotel’s facilities.  

The two parties have discussed different aspects of cooperation between the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management and the Crowne Plaza Hotel including training in the various hotel departments within the internship courses.  A future visit for The Crowne Plaza Hotel top management to Yarmouk University will be  scheduled later to sign a number of agreements in various training aspects discussed during the visit.
