Jordanian Chefs Association Visits the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels

The Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Prof. Dr. Akram Rawashda, received a group of the Jordanian Chefs Association team represented by Chef Ali Fritekh, Secretary of the Association, and Mrs. Abeer Al-Hunaiti, who visited the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels to review the reality of teaching hotel management students in the field of food and beverage production to benefit from the skills of these students and provide more skills and knowledge needed by hotel management students in the labor market. The discussion was held on many items related to the training of these students and providing them with certificates approved by the association in the field of food and beverage production. The meeting concluded with seeking to sign an agreement between the two parties focusing on the exchange of scientific and practical experiences between the members of the Board Teaching and the Jordanian Chefs Association, which prioritized the students' best interests.

The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Omar Al-Ananza, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and Head of the Hotel Management Department, Dr. Omar Taha, and Mr. Zaher Khasawneh, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Conventions and Training.
