Accreditation and Quality Assurance Holds a Training Workshop at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels on the Enhancement of Strategic Plans
The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University made sure to enhance its capabilities in contributing to improving the strategic plans of the university, the faculty held a training workshop on enhancing for strategic plans in coordination with the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, which will contribute to further promoting the university, benefiting from their strength points, reducing weaknesses and turning them into opportunities in the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
The workshop dealt with many points that contribute to improving the performance of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and what are the challenges facing students by conducting a statistical analysis on many important points and taking many of the opinions of students about the problems they suffer from in the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Akram Rawashdeh, expressed its interest and focus in improving its performance by benefiting from the improvement plan for strategic plans to reflect the accreditation and quality assurance standards applicable globally and locally in Jordanian universities, as these results would help develop the internal and external environment of the university and to enhance the strengths and benefit from the opportunities available to be able to face challenges and find appropriate solutions positively, which makes the university achieve the requirements of international accreditations and local quality standards that contribute to raising the level of university classification.
The workshop was held in the presence of Prof. Dr. Akram Rawashdeh, the Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Iyad Al-Sartawi, Dr. Razan Mehaidat, Professor Sawsan Al-Radaida and two faculty members at the Faculty of Tourism, Hotels and administrators at the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center.
