Dr. Mohammed Abu Hujaila as Vice President of the Interim Committee of the Jordanian Tourist Guides Association

On the recommendation of Her Excellency the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Mohammed Abu Hajila, Head of the Department of Tourism and Travel at Yarmouk University'sfaculty of Tourism and Hotels, has been selected as Vice President of the Interim Management Committee of the Jordan Tourist Guides Association, which includes nearly 1,300 speakers of more than 30 international languages.

This choice comes as a result of the professional and scientific experience of Dr. Abu Hajila, who has more than twenty years of practical experience as a tourist guide, in addition to scientific research published in specialized international journals in the field of tourism management.

It is noteworthy that Dr. Abu Hujaila previously held the position of Vice President of the Association from 2017 to 2019 as part of the then-elected team. This selection is a reinforcement of Yarmouk University's leading role in serving the community and enhancing its social responsibility by supporting academic and practical competencies that contribute to the advancement of the national tourism sector, and reflects the commitment of the faculty of Tourism and Hotels at the university to actively participate in the development of tourism policies and practices at the national level.
