Yarmouk University's Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Participates in the "EU-Jordan Research Day 2025" to Strengthen Prospects for International Research Cooperation
The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University, represented by Dr. Mohammad Abuhjeeleh, Head of the Department of Tourism and Travel, took part in the "EU-Jordan Research Day 2025" organized by the Higher Council for Science and Technology, in cooperation with Jordan University of Science and Technology, with wide participation from researchers and academics from various Jordanian universities.
The workshop highlighted key European Union research funding and support programs, most notably Horizon Europe, PRIMA, and COST, and provided insights into application procedures and proposal writing in line with European standards.
The faculty’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to expanding scientific and research collaboration both regionally and internationally, and to fostering a culture of research and innovation among its members. The event served as a strategic platform to empower researchers in accessing international funding opportunities and engaging in pioneering projects that address pressing scientific and societal priorities.
This participation aligns with Yarmouk University’s vision of promoting a strong research environment and encouraging its academic community to engage with global experiences—strengthening the university’s competitiveness and reaffirming its standing in the local and international academic landscape.
