Yarmouk University’s Hotel Management Department Wins Second Place in Cooking Competition:

 

Server’s Choice: The Tenderloin Challenge 2025

In a proud achievement, the Hotel Management Department at Yarmouk University won the silver medal in the "Server’s Choice: The Tenderloin Challenge 2025", organized by the Jordanian Chefs Association.

Chef Abdul Rahman Mousa, a student from the department, earned the silver medal by preparing a beef tenderloin dish and answering a series of knowledge-based questions posed by the judging panel.

The competition was intense, with nine contestants from various universities who had passed the preliminary round. The event was honored by the presence of renowned American chef Robert Phillips, who served as a guest judge.

As a result of this achievement, Abdul Rahman qualified to represent Jordan in the World Cup Culinary Competition to be held in Turkey.
