Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Welcomes Its New Students for the new Academic Year 2025/2026

In an atmosphere filled with warmth and cordiality, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University welcomed its new students for the new academic year 2025/2026 during an orientation meeting organized by the faculty. The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice Dean and Assistant Deans, the Heads of the Departments of Tourism and Travel and Hotel Management, faculty members, and several representatives from the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center.
The meeting began with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Saad Al-Saad, in which he expressed his pleasure at having the new students join the faculty family. He emphasized that the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels is one of the leading faculties dedicated to preparing distinguished graduates capable of competing in the tourism and hospitality job market both in Jordan and abroad. He also encouraged students to commit to diligence and hard work from the very beginning of their academic journey and to actively participate in extracurricular activities that help develop their practical and personal skills.
On her part, Dr. Razan Mahidat delivered a speech on behalf of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, praising the faculty's efforts in achieving academic quality standards and its commitment to providing a modern learning environment that meets the needs of the labor market. She highlighted the importance of positive interaction between students and faculty members to ensure a successful and comprehensive educational experience.
At the conclusion of the meeting, a discussion session was held to address students’ questions regarding academic plans and practical training mechanisms in the programs of Tourism and Travel, Tourism Guidance, and Hotel Management, with attendees expressing their satisfaction with this initiative, which strengthens communication between the faculty and its new students.
