The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University holds a specialized workshop on presentation and public speaking skills.

As part of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels’ efforts to develop students’ skills and enhance their abilities in ways that support their academic and professional paths, a workshop titled “Presentation and Public Speaking Skills” was held in the faculty auditorium. The workshop was delivered by the Vice Dean, Professor Fakhrieh Darabseh, with the participation of a group of students.

The workshop covered a wide range of topics, including understanding the audience and analyzing its needs, as well as building, evaluating, and delivering an effective presentation. It also addressed body language skills and their role in conveying the message, in addition to methods for engaging the audience and managing interaction during a presentation.

The workshop highlighted practical approaches to strengthening self-confidence and overcoming the fear of speaking in front of others. It also emphasized techniques for handling questions and managing discussions in a professional and balanced manner.

The session concluded with several tips aimed at helping students perform confidently and effectively when presenting to an audience.
