Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Visits “Level” & “Alliance” Travel & Tourism Agencies to Monitor Student Training
As part of its efforts to strengthen partnerships with the tourism sector and fulfill Field Training Course requirements, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University conducted a field visit to Level and Alliance Travel and Tourism agents. The visit was led by Dr. Mohammad Abuhjeeleh, Instructor of the Field Training Course, and Mr. Mohammad Jba'ateh, Field Training Supervisor at the Faculty, to monitor student training and provide direct supervision at the training sites.
The visit aimed to assess students' progress, review their assigned tasks, and explore avenues for further collaboration to ensure an integrated training environment that enhances students' practical skills.
During the visit, meetings were held with the management of both offices and student supervisors. Discussions focused on providing quality training opportunities in flight reservations, ticketing, tourism programs, tour planning, and administrative and marketing skills.
Dr. Mohammad Abuhjeeleh emphasized the importance of field visits in ensuring training quality, noting that continuous engagement with partners reflects the Faculty's commitment to preparing graduates capable of confidently entering the job market.
For his part, Mr. Mohammad Jba'ateh highlighted that field supervision is crucial to the training process, allowing for close assessment of student performance and guidance in real work environments.
The management of Level and Alliance Travel Offices welcomed the visit and expressed their readiness for continued cooperation to support students' academic and professional development.
This visit is part of a series of field meetings conducted by the Faculty to monitor student training and strengthen ties with tourism sector institutions.
