Specialized Lecture on Room Management Enhances Hotel Management Students’ Career

The Department of Hotel Management at Yarmouk University hosted a specialized scientific lecture delivered by Mr. Laith Irshidat, Director of Seven Days Hotel. The lecture was part of a course supervised by Professor Furat Al-Muhaysin, with the participation of the Head of the Hotel Management Department and the course students.

The lecture addressed the topic of room management in the hospitality sector. Mr. Irshidat reviewed key practical concepts related to hotel operations management, including organizing the work of the rooms division, mechanisms for improving service quality, achieving guest satisfaction, as well as the daily challenges facing hotel management and ways to handle them efficiently.

During the session, the speaker emphasized the importance of integrating theoretical and practical aspects in preparing students for the labor market, highlighting the need to acquire professional and technical skills that keep pace with rapid developments in the hospitality industry.
