Hotel Management Department at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels Organizes the “My College is More Beautiful” Initiative

As part of its continuous efforts to promote environmental awareness and strengthen the values of belonging and social responsibility, the Hotel Management Department at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels organized an initiative entitled “My College is More Beautiful,” with the participation of faculty and administrative staff members, as well as a number of students from the Hotel Management Department.

The initiative included several volunteer activities aimed at improving the university environment, such as cleaning the surroundings of the faculty, removing weeds, collecting waste, and raising students’ awareness about the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the university campus. These activities were inspired by religious, educational, and cultural values that encourage respect for the environment and care for public spaces.

Participants emphasized that such initiatives contribute to strengthening teamwork, enhancing students’ sense of belonging to the university and Jordan, and promoting a culture of volunteerism and responsibility, which positively reflects on both the university environment and the local community.

This initiative also aligns with national efforts aimed at spreading environmental awareness and promoting cleanliness across different regions of the Kingdom, while reflecting the important role educational institutions play in supporting community initiatives and encouraging civilized behavior among youth.

The organizers praised the students’ active participation and engagement, emphasizing their commitment to continuing such activities that reflect the civilized image of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and contribute to creating a more beautiful and sustainable university environment.
