"Yarmouk Tourism" Organizes a Workshop for Graduate Students
The College of Tourism and Hotels organized a workshop for master's students who are still enrolled in the tourism program entitled “Research Writing Skills and Challenges for Postgraduates”. The organizer of the workshop, Dr. Mohammed Al-Badarneh, provided a detailed explanation of many issues facing the graduate students during their research career.
Dr. Badarneh aimed to raise students' awareness on the important differences between the scientific thesis prepared by graduate students during their academic careers, and the preparation of the research papers written by researchers for the purposes of publishing in recognised local and international journals. Dr. Al-Badarneh also highlighted common challenges, including selecting a thesis topic, collecting references from reliable sources such as the Yarmouk University Library and other databases, drafting a thesis proposal, and finding effective ways to turn research difficulties into positive solutions.
