The Faculty of Tourism and Hotels organized a field trip to Tafila Governorate in southern Jordan as part of the Training Course 3 (GUID 431). The trip took place on Thursday, May 2, 2024, and included 25 students. The itinerary featured a visit to Al-Qatraneh Castle on the road leading to Tafila, followed by a visit to Al-Hasa Castle, Dana Biosphere Reserve, the traditional Al-Ma’atan Village, and finally Tafila Castle. During the trip, the students were provided with archaeological information and the historical narratives of the visited sites by the course instructor, Professor Dr. Akram Rawashdeh, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels.
