The Department of Hotel Management Participates in Judging the “Most Beautiful Dish” Competition at the Model School / Yarmouk University
The Department of Hotel Management at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Yarmouk University, participated in judging the “Most Beautiful Dish” competition organized by the university’s Model School. The competition saw outstanding participation from students who competed in preparing and presenting a variety of dishes.
The judging panel, consisting of Prof. Omar Ananzeh, Prof. Hakam Shatnawi, Dr. Ahmad Mukhademah, Dr. Omar Taha, Mr. Furat Al-Muhaisen, Ms. Fatima Al-Kafraini, Chef Khaled Al-Rifai, Chef Yahya Al-Jarrah, and student Abdulrahman Al-Mousa, evaluated the dishes based on culinary standards, creativity, and presentation.
The event also featured various artistic and recreational activities, including a special fashion show under the supervision of teacher Haifa Khashroum, as well as traditional dabkeh performances by student groups led by teacher Alaa Al-Widyan and Dr. Nael Al-Omari.
This participation comes as part of the Department of Hotel Management’s commitment to supporting student activities and enhancing cooperation between the Faculty and the Model School, with the aim of nurturing students’ creative skills in culinary arts and hotel-related fields.
