Exploring Ways to Enhance Cooperation between the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and the Kuwaiti Kout Food Group

As part of efforts to strengthen partnership between the academic sector and the food manufacturing industry, a meeting was held via Microsoft Teams between the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Prof. Dr. Saad Al-Saad, and the Human Resources Business Manager at the Kuwaiti Kout Food Group, Ms. Trupti Pukale. The meeting aimed to explore avenues of mutual cooperation in the field of human resource development through the Group’s training and employment programs. The participants also discussed the latest technologies and methods in food manufacturing. The meeting featured numerous constructive discussions and ideas designed to enhance collaboration between the two parties.

Ms. Pukale, in turn, affirmed the Group’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with Yarmouk University and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels in the areas of tourism and hospitality training as well as food manufacturing. She also provided an overview of the Group’s operations, objectives, and future vision, which focuses on expanding and increasing its brands, including Burger King, Pizza Hut, and Kababji.

This meeting comes in line with the University’s vision of preparing students for the labor market and contributing to the creation of employment opportunities for them.
