Department of Hotel Management to Grand Hyatt Amman to Strengthen Partnership with the Labor Market
As part of the efforts of the Department of Hotel Management at the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels to enhance the quality of educational outcomes, the department organized a visit to Grand Hyatt Amman to meet Hotel Management students (field training students) within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between both parties.
The department was represented by Dr. Omar Taha and the field training supervisors, Mr. Mohammad Juba’ah and Chef Khaled Rifa’i. They were welcomed by Ms. Enas Hashani, the Training Manager at the hotel, who expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the efforts of Yarmouk University, represented by the Department of Hotel Management, in strengthening the relationship with the labor market and supplying it with qualified students.
It is important to note that Hotel Management students in the Bachelor’s program, during their fourth year, enter the labor market through training courses divided into two academic semesters. This provides them with the opportunity to gain practical experience alongside their academic degree, which increases their chances of employment in the labor market.
