Conclusion of the Museum Guiding Course for students of the Faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels

The Faculty of Archaeology and Anthropology, in collaboration with the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University, concluded its Museum Guiding Course for students from both faculties. The course, which included students from both faculties, was part of the university's efforts to enhance students' practical skills and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world applications in the tourism and cultural heritage sectors.

Eight students from both faculties participated in the course, receiving specialized training in museum guiding skills. This included fundamentals of visitor communication, methods of presenting historical and cultural information, and an introduction to global best practices in managing and interpreting museum exhibits.

The course aimed to develop students' abilities and prepare them for work in museums and archaeological sites, thereby contributing to improved tourism services and a more enriching visitor experience. It also aimed to reinforce awareness of the importance of preserving national cultural heritage. 

The course organizers emphasized the importance of such training programs in honing students' skills, noting that these initiatives enhance graduates' readiness for the job market and open up career opportunities in the fields of tourism and museum guiding. At the end of the course, certificates were distributed to the participants, amid praise for the level of interaction and commitment shown by the students, and emphasis on continuing to organize such quality courses that serve the educational process at the university.
