Academic Delegation from Amman University College Visits Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University to Explore Academic Cooperation Horizons 

 

 In a step aimed at strengthening academic partnership and exchanging expertise in the field of tourism and hospitality education, a high-level academic delegation from Amman University College, headed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Kurdi, along with the Vice Dean and a number of academic and administrative staff members, visited the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University.

 

The visiting delegation was received by the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Professor Dr. Saad Al-Saad, the Vice Dean, the Assistant Deans, and a number of academic and administrative staff members. The delegation was welcomed in a productive academic atmosphere.

 

The visit aimed to explore prospects for joint academic cooperation between the two leading institutions in tourism and hospitality education, to benefit from mutual expertise, and to exchange knowledge in the fields of curricula, practical training, and scientific research. It also sought to open communication channels between the members of both teaching faculties, in addition to discussing the possibility of implementing joint academic programs, workshops, and research projects that serve the tourism and hospitality sectors in Jordan.

 

Professor Dr. Ibrahim Al-Kurdi, Dean of Amman University College, emphasized the importance of this visit in enhancing cooperation between the two faculties, praising the advanced level reached by the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University and its local, regional, and international reputation for graduating distinguished cadres in the field of tourism and hotels.

 

For his part, Professor Dr. Saad Al-Saad, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, expressed his pride in this visit, affirming the faculty’s full readiness to provide all forms of academic and advisory support to Amman University College, to open up avenues of cooperation in areas that serve the educational and research journey of both institutions, and to meet the needs of the Jordanian and regional labor market for distinguished tourism and hospitality competencies.

 

At the conclusion of the visit, it was emphasized that follow-up would be conducted on the agreed-upon themes, and that efforts would be made to translate them into tangible implementation plans.
