Faculty of Tourism & Hotels Visits "Raheeq Travel & Tourism" & "Dania Baibars" for Events Organization

 

 

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with the tourism sector and fulfill the requirements of the Field Training Course, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Yarmouk University conducted a field visit to Raheeq Travel and Tourism and Dania Baibars for Events Organization. The visit was led by Dr. Mohammad Abuhjeeleh, Instructor of the Field Training Course in the Department of Tourism and Travel, and Mr. Mohammad Jba'ateh, Field Training Supervisor at the Faculty, to monitor student training and provide direct supervision at the training sites.

 

The visit aimed to assess students' progress, review their assigned tasks, and explore avenues for further collaboration to ensure a comprehensive training environment that enhances students' practical skills.

During the visit, meetings were held with the management of both institutions and student supervisors. Discussions focused on coordination mechanisms to provide quality-training opportunities and strengthen students' competencies in event organization, flight reservation systems, tour planning, and the administrative and marketing skills essential for the tourism sector.

 

Dr. Mohammad Abuhjeeleh emphasized the importance of field visits in ensuring training quality, noting that continuous engagement with partner institutions reflects the Faculty's commitment to preparing graduates capable of confidently entering the job market.

 

For his part, Mr. Mohammad Jba'ateh highlighted that field supervision is crucial to the training process, allowing for close assessment of student performance and guidance to maximize their experience in real work environments.

 

The management of Raheeq Travel and Tourism and Dania Baibars for Events Organization welcomed the visit and expressed their readiness for continued cooperation to provide exceptional practical training that supports students' academic and professional development.

 

This visit is part of a series of field meetings conducted by the Faculty to monitor student training, strengthen ties with tourism institutions, and enhance educational outcomes in line with local and regional market demands.
